Hello, Creatives! I can't believe I'll be shopping next weekend for my and my husband's Thanksgiving menu. I've done the whole cooking from scratch thing, the whole from 'the box' thing, and everything in between. Although I do LOVE my lemon rosemary turkey recipe that I got out of a 'Cooking Light' magazine the first year I and my husband bought our home, we have become kind of burnt out on turkey for the holidays. We usually do a roast for Christmas, and that seems more of our kinda thing. I also do my roast in a crockpot all day long with carrots, salt, and pepper. Simple and done, and I think that is probably what I will be doing this year for the Holiday Season.
This weekend in the shop I have placed probably one of my favorite collections yet! The 'Give Thanks' Collection is all about the day of thanks. When we gather with Family and friends and stuff ourselves full of turkey, pie, and football. (Even though mine is Roast Beef, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and the parade.)
With a rich color palette, perfect for this time of year, including plums, purples, winter mint, peach, olives, and browns. Document those Annual Gatherings, the menu, baking traditions, and all the things we are thankful for.
