Autumn Mini Album | + NEW in SHOP | A Good Day
Hello, Creatives! wow, are we already headed into Septemeber? Well... kinda. The weather here is still in the '80s but I can smell autumn coming. The leaves are starting to change slowly and sports are starting up on the hill in the park. With COVID-19 still looming, we are trying so hard to get back on track, back into a routine, and school is starting for most of our families. It's times like these when we have to celebrate these times, those snapshots taken on our phones and these good days. Which takes me to my new kit.
The - A Good Day - Collection is new this weekend in the shop with elements, papers, and journal cards. And I hope it will inspire you to document these times when autumn is coming, the leaves have cool colors, school is back in session, and the world is changing again.

CREATIVE TEAM INSPIRATION
This past week I started my Autumn Mini album. If you know me, you know that I'm crazy about Autumn, and I couldn't wait to dive in with cooler summer weather elements that head into fall. So I gathered some supplies that I've had around and I remembered I had an old wooden cover album from @colorcastdesigns stashed away since 2015, and some other goodies from Jessica's store. I used the tiny leaves from the -A Good Day - Collection to cover the 2015 date and I added some silhouette cut elements from the kit as well. I also cut some of the papers down to 6x4in cards. I love this new kit because I really made it to be a transitional kit from summer to fall to year. I've been in love with Mini Albums for as long as I can remember, and as much as I love project life, my heart always goes back to more traditional scrapbooking. Also though this coming year, I really think that I will be doing more digital albums. Not only do they look great in my home, but digital scrapbooking has more of a "cataloging" feel that I want to bring back to my craft life. Follow along with me this month as I start to walk down memory lane, hand in hand with autumn. :)
